This increase offers the benefit of more surface area for the fan blades, which provides a boost to the airflow and static pressure. In fact, a Lian Li UNI FAN TL RGB 120 can produce 90.1CFM of airflow, at a pressure of 3.97mmH2O.

Another innovation is the choice of materials utilised in the construction. Instead of the usual plastics that are traditionally used for fan blades, these utilise Liquid-Crystal Polymer (LCP). The move to this material carries the benefit of better tolerances, meaning that the space between the fan blades and the frame can be reduced. Thanks to this, air can more efficiently flow through the fan, increasing its output whilst also minimising any noise from air turbulence.
